intro
God makes everyone different, and everyone thinks different. By getting more people to contribute, we can get a wide range of topics. We invite any college aged believer to submit a devotional to us to be used as a college dev.

requirements
First, we ask that you pray about the message that you'd like to use for your devotional. This is probably the most important requirement. AFTER you are done praying about the message, it is time to type up your message. All devotionals must be based on a bible verse. Look for the verse(s) that best fit your message. After you have studied the verse, then write your devotional. You may want to begin your devotional with a story about how the verse pertains to your life. The actual message part of the devotional is totally up to you. Please use the following as guidelines when writing the devotional:

  • Use one to four bible verses at the most.
  • Make sure to include the bible book name, chapter, and verses, and also the translation you used.
  • If you use the King James translation, please also include a translation from the Amplified, New Living Translation, New International Version (basically a translation that will spell it out in plain English)
  • Be sure to limit your message to about 6-10 sentances as the most. The devotional is meant to be a quick 5 minute daily thing, not a sermon.
  • Be sure you have PRAYED about it BEFORE you send it!
  • Double check it for grammer, mispellings, etc.

Some extra information for you to chew on... All devotionals are reviewed before being sent out. Only one devotional is sent out a day. Devotionals are subject to editing for grammer, spelling, etc. Another thing.. PLEASE don't send us anything that someone ELSE wrote. We want YOUR devotional, NOT someone elses. Although rare, your devotional may NOT be used for some reason. We will contact you regarding WHY your devotional is not going to be used if that actually happens. One more thing..if you do submit a devotional, you give us permission to use it.

Thats about it! We appreciate you taking the time to share what God has put in your heart, and we look foward to sharing it with the world.
